The restaurant

A small kitchen with a passion for flavour

La Cocina del Gaidovar was born in May 2023, in the heart of Grazalema, in the hands of chef Sergio Naranjo. A project where a passion for gastronomy, respect for the produce and care in every detail are our reason for being.

Our kitchen is built on a short, carefully chosen menu, where quality and flavour are the true protagonists. The grill has a special place, with dishes such as sea bream or wild sea bass, octopus, Ibérico presa and a selection of meats, among them suckling lamb from Cádiz, suckling kid from Málaga and our aged beef loins.

The produce of our land is also part of who we are: Payoya goat and Merina sheep cheeses from Grazalema, Ibérico cured meats and our homemade croquettes.

A small, welcoming space where we like to look after every detail and make those who visit us feel at home.

“Loved the prawn croquettes and lamb chops! The roasted vegetables in salt was wonderful! And all in a supremely picturesque setting in the Plaza de España. And they do accept card!”

“Food are so good, I didnt expect much but the flavor of dishes turned out to be perfect, even the vegetables next to the sea bass are amazing.”

“A one of a kind meal. Cannot say enough good things about La Covina del Gaidovar. My wife and I have had Michelin nod meals across Europe and this restaurant surpasses them all. 10/10 recommend enough”

Tanner Blacklidge · May 2026 · Google

“I have tried most of the restaurants ln Grazalema and the surrounding areasand this is by far the best . The food is at a different level with a chef Sergio who trained in London. I recommend the presa iberico and mushroom risotto . The croquetas and cheese cake are the best I have tasted. We will definitely be back”
